What is the travel itinerary?

The travel itinerary provided by our agency is a valuable tool to help you get the best out of your time in Bordeaux with recommendations, discovery trails, special tips, restaurant advice and detailed maps.

On a day-by-day basis, it presents your schedule and the associated services, along with useful contacts during your trip. The itinerary also includes vouchers to present to each service provider in order to benefit from your reservation (accommodation, restaurants, tours, tastings etc.).

Should I present the vouchers?

Yes! It is essential to present a voucher upon arrival at service providers in order to benefit from the services that have been reserved.

Is transport included in your excursions and stays?

Our packages are offered without transport, i.e. you have the freedom, simplicity and privacy of travelling in your own car. We do however give you detailed guidance, enabling you to take routes that are "off the beaten track".All you need is a car, a GPS and your personalized travel itinerary that will be provided by our agency - an indispensable tool to help you get the best out of your time in Bordeaux with recommendations, special tips, restaurant advice, and detailed maps.

Can I have a car with driver for just two people, or a people carrier for just my friends or family?

Certainly, and in fact this is the only type of transport that we offer. You would not have to share with other people. However, be aware that this is a relatively expensive service.

Can I buy wine at the châteaux we visit?

Yes, they offer their wines for sale.

Can children come on the excursions/packages?

Our programmes are not recommended for children. They are likely to find them long and to eventually become bored (we know from experience!) and you may also end up not fully enjoying your trip.

What types and categories of accommodation are available on the trips?

Accommodation is in the Châteaux, or in beautifully restored outbuildings. This is indicated in the details of the programmes.

When should we arrive at our accommodation and when do we have to leave?

The rooms are usually available from 4pm. You should vacate the room by 11am.

Are local tourist taxes included in the price of the trips? Tourist taxes are always included in our programmes, so there won't be any extra charges.

Do you have any suggestions if the accommodation is already full on the date that we want to go?

We can of course recommend an alternative, in a Château in a similar category, or higher, depending on availability. In the latter case, we would inform you of any price increase when you make the reservation.

How will you send me my travel itinerary?

We will send you the travel itinerary by email to the address that you provided when you made the reservation.
